My Story
Hi, I’m Sue, the founder, chef, and heart behind The Artisan Chef Miami. I was born and raised amidst the vibrant cultural melting pot of Miami, FL, where the fusion of diverse influences, including my Cuban and Middle Eastern heritage, ignited my deep appreciation for fine cuisine. From a young age, I was drawn to the kitchen, inspired by my mother’s cooking and eager to help her prepare special dishes for family gatherings.
When I met my husband in 1996, he introduced me to a world of flavors I had never encountered before, awakening an even deeper passion for food I didn't realize I had. Over the years, that passion and curiosity led me to experiment, refine, and create dishes that became cherished by family, friends, and eventually, clients.
Cooking has always been more than a skill for me — it’s a source of relaxation, joy, and connection. Through The Artisan Chef Miami, I carry that love into every celebration, striving to elevate every bite and celebrate every moment.
